Educational Pathway
Keeping mind the differing needs of children with special needs or constraints, Lady Andal Open School is designed with providing dedicated educational pathways for any type of learner and equips them with the skills to complete their education and live their lives with dignity, as contributing members of the society.
All children are given the comprehensive MARG assessment which helps to determine the best course of action for a Child’s developmental needs.
The Lady Andal Open School (OS) Program supports children with multiple disabilities, not limited to autism (various disabilities / diverse needs). Services offered include the Early Intervention, Literacy, Functional Academics, and Vocational Programs, with placement guided by the child’s age and unique developmental and learning needs.
Students can also avail various Government certified programs such as the Open Basic Education program for classes 4th to 8th Standard and the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) program for senior classes from 9th to the 12th standards to complete their basic schooling.
Therapy Programs
The Lady Andal Open School provides various Therapy based intervention programs for children with various developmental needs, including cognitive, language and physical challenges. They are broadly broken into Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy programs, conducted by trained and certified professionals.
Vocational Training
The Lady Andal Open School provides 5+ Vocational training programs across art and crafts that allows students to graduate and start careers of their own.
