Our Story

The Madras Seva Sadan and its institutions were built on the Founder's ideals of ‘leaving no child behind'.

With the establishment of the Learning Centre in 1998, followed by the creation of the Occupational Therapy in 2005, Mrs. C Prema Kumar: founder of the Lady Andal Venkatasubba Rao School, pioneered the concept of providing dedicated infrastructure to help mainstream children with learning & other physical disabilities complete their schooling.

Keeping with this ideal of inclusivity, Mrs. Krithika Kumar Quintal, great-grandniece of the founders, along with support from the active board members - were inspired to reimagine the future of Education for Children with specialized needs.
